Guest Access:
Guests can enjoy the amenities of the 1 Bedroom Suite, accessible via the garage, including the Laundry Room, Hot Tub, Plunge Pool, backyard lounge areas, and parking for up to two (2) cars. However, access to the outdoor cooking area, BBQ, Smoker, Fire Pit, and outdoor dining area is restricted for guests staying at the Red Canyon Retreat. This measure is in place to ensure guests can relish the backyard oasis while maintaining semi-private spaces.
Guest pays: Nightly Rent + Departure Cleaning Fee $155 + $115 Damage Protection Fee + 6.5% Yavapai County (0.825%) and State of Arizona (5.5%) Sales and Use Tax. If/When approved a minimum $300 Pet Fee will apply.
Vivid Vacation Rentals has flexible payment options. If you pay by credit card you will be charged an additional 5% credit card processing fee. If you would like to avoid this fee you can place a Wire Transfer, Send a Check, and/or Venmo us. Contact us for details.
Deposit: 40% due at booking - Balance Due 61 Days prior to arrival. Cancellations made over 31 days prior to stay: Full refund. Within 14 days of arrival: 50% refund (minus service fee). No refund after 14 days from arrival. All times based on property's local time. (Effective April 1, 2024)

Karen and Mark are not only super Hosts, they are professional, kind and funny! The Retreat was beyond our expectations and incredibly breathtaking. Clean, peaceful, private with a great eye for detail inside and out. Kat was a huge help with local recommendations and on site help. We not only stayed in an incredible Retreat, we made beautiful friends!
Everything was really delightful- we LOVED the back yard, pool and hot tub.

A beautiful place to relax after hiking. South of the main downtown area by about 25 minutes, but very close to other fabulous restaurants, coffee shops etc. Karen and Kat were excellent communicators. Everything was really delightful- we LOVED the back yard, pool and hot tub. I highly recommend considering this place for your next trip.

We had a fantastic stay at the red canyon retreat. The backyard was absolutely stunning & we enjoyed Finn the dogs company! Location was a bit out of the main touristy part of Sedona but didn’t mind the easy & scenic drive to and from. Plenty of restaurants/things to do close by. Karen, Mike, & Kat were all very friendly & accommodating. Instructions made check in/check out a breeze & very easy to find. Definitely would recommend a stay with them!

We had a fantastic stay at Karen’s and Mark’s place! You can see that they have put a lot of effort in making you feel like home. From beautiful backyard, to a bbq and a hot tub, you have everything you need to relax and recharge after a long day of hiking. And of course Finn, their dog, is absolutely adorable and will invite you to play like you are his best friend.
We will def be back again!!

Karen and Mark were great hosts :) They were so great to talk to and made you feel right at home. Their dog Finn is the best! He is so friendly and a great addition to the stay. The gardens are truly amazing. I could vacation in the gardens, throw some steaks on the traeger, jump in the salt water pool, and never leave the air b and b. It’s a home base like no other. We will def be back again!!

Karen's place was an Oasis in the middle of Sedona. The backyard looked like something out of a magazine. From the pool to the hottub to the warm peaches ready for the picking, the backyard left nothing to be desired. The best part, though, was Finn, their puppy. We were always greeted with a wagging tail and a ball to throw.The inside was stocked with everything you would need. The bed was very comfortable, and the shower was amazing.Karen was kind and thoughtful. She had excellent suggestions for food and hikes. The caves are a must do.The location is close to all the great hikes. You can be at the most popular trails within 10-15 minutes of leaving.I can't say enough about how great the Retreat was. I hope we are fortunate enough to go back.
I highly recommend Red Canyon Retreat, it’s a very special place!

My husband and I just spent a week at Karen and Mark’s place, it was one of the top Airbnb’s we’ve ever stayed. The listing is exactly as described and the property is more beautiful than the pictures. Karen was extremely helpful with any questions I had both before we arrived and when we were there. Although the weather was very hot the space was cool and comfortable, and we enjoyed the pool each afternoon after being out and about. The space was clean, well decorated, and inviting. We very much enjoyed our time in Sedona thanks in part to Karen and Mark’s hospitality. I highly recommend Red Canyon Retreat, it’s a very special place.

Quiet and efficient. Great yard and grounds though we had no time to enjoy it - spent as much time out hiking as possible. Karen and Mark were friendly and helpful - a great source of local information.

Oh where do I begin! our stay could not have been more perfect. Karen and Mark are both very hospitable, friendly, thoughtful, and interesting. We thoroughly enjoyed the magnificent back yard as well as the company of Finn. The entire space was very comfortable but the bed was like sleeping on clouds. We will absolutely visit again.The Village of Oak Creek is a fantastic location to base your stay in. I am very happy we did not pick a place right in Sedona. There are so many places to go in every direction from there without the hassle of traffic. FOOD! All the restaurants were very satisfying and ranged in price from typical to very expensive. I did review them.

Our stay at Karen and Mark’s was the BEST experience we’ve had with an AirBnB. The listing was exactly as pictured and described, had helpful amenities, was beautiful and clean, and Karen was very responsive any time I messaged her with a question. Their backyard is GORGEOUS and was the perfect place to spend the evening after a day of hiking in the desert. Karen greeted us on arrival and gave us helpful suggestions for where to hike, how to avoid the crowds and traffic, and places to eat and visit. Both Karen and Mark were friendly and made us feel at home throughout the experience. The hosts and the home were beyond perfect on their own, but our stay also came with the added bonus of playing with their adorable dog, Finn! Every time we travel we miss our pups so much, so getting to play fetch with Finn and give him snuggles was truly a gift. I would have been content to stay in their backyard and play with Finn and cool off in the saltwater pool the whole stay. Book this :)
I would highly recommend this place to everyone that want a great place to stay!

Karen was a excellent host! She and her husband were always there to answer any questions and they were interested in you as a person. The place was perfect to come back to after a long hike and soak in the hot tub, enjoy the view, and cook out on the grill. I would highly recommend this place to everyone that want a great place to stay!

Perfect location south of Sedona for accessing all the surrounding areas. We loved the cozy space and the backyard oasis is really neat and relaxing. Karen gave us great ideas for area hikes and 4x4 trails and the guidebook they provide has even more. It was nice having the sweet pup Finn to play with, he’s a good boy. We’d definitely stay here again!
Perfect location with beautiful views. We lucked out and had the whole back yard outdoor space to ourselves. Host was very accommodating and responsive to any questions. Will be our preferred location to stay in Sedona if we ever visit again.
